Invitation from the Organizing Committee president

The possibilities of having a world joined, connected from one corner to another are more vivid today than anyone could have imagined. Professional connections are made and broken in a second between huge companies, as we could have foreseen, but the true breaking of boundaries comes from friendships made while trying to understand the world around us.

Just to think that students are now able to connect their ideas, collectively plan, communicate and grow through life situations together. No matter what nationality, language, religion! Opens doors to a humanity that we as a race are striving to accomplish throughout existence.

Congresses such as these strengthen the connection formed until now on textual conversations only. Retrospectively students are able to grasp the attention of leading scientists, present their intuitive ideas which they might have missed because of the boundaries formed by a deep education and walls made by growing up.

With gratitude to the opportunity of being one of the creators of this magical event I invite you to join us in Dubrovnik from 20th to the 25th of October 2008. for a week you will never forget.

Invitation from the EPSA president

Dear fellow students and colleagues in healthcare,

The 'Pearl of the Adriatic', situated on the Dalmatian coast, has seen lots of history since the 13th century however in October it will also be the European capital of Clinical Pharmacy. Pharmacists from all the areas within the profession, students, professors and partner healthcare specialists will gather in this idyllic location to share thoughts, experiences, and to cooperate in achieving solutions for the better future of the Pharmaceutical profession.

We are living times of fast changes in the Pharmacy on both professional and academic levels. In this challenging environment EPSA and ESCP have joined forces in order to make their members ready for the demands of our daily duties in the Healthcare Team. The Educational theme for this event is Pharmaceutical care models and therapeutic innovations. This topic allows for a lot of interesting discussions and we as students hope to be able to bring our insight to ESCP.

Over 150 students from all around Europe will be attending this event. EPSA represents the students who will be tomorrow’s leaders in the field of pharmacy. We owe this collaboration to the ESCP and the trust they invest in the potential of the European Pharmacy Students.
